Bo's Photo I work at a startup called Kealia, now part of Sun Microsystems. We develop video streaming systems, servers and NAS storage systems. Kealia was founded by Andy Bechtolsheim and David Cheriton. It was acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2004. I'm currently a technical lead at Sun Microsystems, working on Linux software for video applications.

I designed and lead work on Linux kernel software for large-scale video storage and streaming. Prior to that, I modified a number of subsystems of the Linux kernel for video applications, including network stack, VM, file system, software RAID, SCSI, and various device drivers. I also implemented a high-performance kernel level video streaming engine.

I have a Master's degree in computer science with distinction in research from Stanford and a Bachelor's degree in chemistry from Peking University in Beijing, China.

Simulation of Tcp Switching using ns.

  • QoS Multi-Path [pdf]

Stateless load balancing over multiple MPLS paths.
